A condenser cools and liquefies gas by transferring heat to the environment. It is used for efficient heat rejection in industry. An evaporator converts liquid to vapor, concentrating solutions, as in the production of condensed milk. These principles are essential in many specialized applications.
With an understanding of the crucial roles that condensers and evaporators play in various industrial systems, Metalli has leveraged this expertise to focus on the design and manufacturing of condensers and evaporators for automotive air conditioners, as well as pre-cooled evaporators for refrigerated air dryers.

CONDENSER
A condenser is a device that cools and condenses a gaseous substance back into its liquid state by removing heat.
Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems: The condenser releases heat absorbed by the refrigerant, which changes from gas to liquid after compression.
Power Plants: In thermal power plants, condensers convert exhaust steam from turbines back into water, improving cycle efficiency and conserving water.
EVAPORATOR
An evaporator is a device that absorbs heat to convert a liquid, such as water or a refrigerant, into its gaseous form (vapor).
Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems: The evaporator absorbs heat, causing the refrigerant to evaporate and cool the area. This is when the refrigerant turns from liquid to gas.
Food Processing: Used to concentrate food liquids like milk or juice by removing water. This preserves food and reduces transport costs by lowering volume.
WORKING PRINCIPLE
CONDENSER: High-pressure refrigerant gas enters the condenser. The condenser releases refrigerant heat to the environment, often using fans or water. As heat is lost, the refrigerant becomes a high-pressure liquid.
EVAPORATOR: Low-pressure liquid refrigerant enters the evaporator and absorbs heat from its surroundings. The refrigerant evaporates into a low-pressure gas and returns to the compressor to continue the cycle.
