Metalli provides multiple heat sinks and a liquid cold plate, including Skived Fin Heat Sink, Heat Pipe Heat Sink, Extruded Heat Sink, Bonded Fin Heat Sink, CNC Machining Heat Sink, Die Casting Heat Sink, Cold Forged Heat Sink, and Phase Change Heat Sink. Our products have been sold and exported to over 100 countries worldwide.

A heat sink is a device that dissipates heat generated by electronic components (such as central processing units (CPUs), graphics processing units (GPUs), and power transistors) to maintain optimal operating temperatures and prevent overheating. Dissipating heat means transferring it away from the component to the surrounding environment.

COMPONENTS AND STRUCTURE
Base: The part of the heat sink that makes direct contact with the component generating heat, allowing heat transfer from the component. It is usually made of materials with high thermal conductivity (the ability to conduct heat well), such as copper or aluminum.
Fins: These thin plates are attached to the heat sink to increase its surface area, which allows more heat to be transferred to the surrounding air. Surface area refers to the amount of the heat sink exposed to air.
Heat Pipes (optional): These are used in more advanced heat sinks to transfer heat efficiently from the base to the fins.

TYPES OF HEAT SINKS

PASSIVE HEAT SINKS :Passive heat sinks rely on natural convection to dissipate heat. They have no moving parts, making them reliable and silent, but they are generally less effective than active heat sinks.

ACTIVE HEAT SINKS :Active heat sinks use fans or other forced-air systems to improve heat dissipation. They are more effective at cooling but can be noisier and require more maintenance due to moving parts.
